Book Readers Review

Traceless by Joanne Clancy is a mystery that leaves you wondering and possibly a little frustrated.  The plot has potential that was not realized.  Adam Stoltz disappears and his girlfriend Darcy Ackerman the last person to see him alive.  She appears to be traumatized and unclear as to what happened.  George Ellis heads a major police investigation.  However, Adam remains missing without a trace. Darcey, is questioned relentlessly by the police as she was the last person to see Adam alive.  Gina, a reporter, thinks that something is amiss and forms her own investigation to get to the bottom of Adam's disappearance.

I enjoyed the story and it is a fast read.  If you like a thriller with a element of mystery and an unexpected ending, then this novel is for you.  The characters were not developed enough for my liking and the plot was unclear and there were many jumps in point of view.  This was confusing at times.  The ending leaves you feeling that there should be another book to complete the story.  I received a copy from Joanne Clancy in exchange for an honest review.  Three stars are my maximum rating.
