I am not an author, but love to read. When we found mum's writings, I was in heaven... reading, transcribing from handwritten to computer and starting the search and education on how to get them published.
As an avid reader I became fascinated with
Mum’s stories and books. All her writings were hand written on legal size paper
or note books, on both sides of the paper. I began reading some of the 50 plus
short stories and four books. After reading a few, I was hooked, Mum’s writing
was not the clearest, however, I had set myself the challenge and was going to
follow through. At times I was frustrated with Mum's hand writing. The first
book was published 2008 “Ladies of Class” now Mum's second book “The Poison
Pen” is now published April 30th 2014 http://vinspirepublishing.com
There are
so many talented authors that I decided to make my blog a place for readers,
authors, writers, and anyone interested to meet, share, and discuss.
This is a heartwarming story. It's nice that you took the time and devotion to cherish her works this way - tuning them up, getting them published, and now "marketing" them.
ReplyDeleteThank you Doctor Barbara. I'm hoping to get the next book published soon.

I agree with Doctor Barbara; this is a very heartwarming story. It is wonderful to have such a large piece of your mum's heart, still, that you can share with the world! Beautiful <3
