Book Readers Review
Truth or Fiction? What if this had happened? Many questions are posed in this debut novel of Mitchell Stevens. The title 'Deliberate Deceit' is the epitome of the book, the climate of the world now, and the global war on terror. The threat of World War 111 is ever present in our lives. Mitchell Stevens, the author, has presented some very plausible events and ideas that leave the reader wandering how much could be based on truth. Intrigue, suspense, treachery, and romance are a few of the complex elements that Mitchell has woven into a powerful plot and sub-plot.
It is unnecessary to repeat the book description here. Stevens has developed a good balance of characters
some you can love and others you may hate.
To say it plainly, 'the good guys and bad guys' no guessing who is who,
it is plain from the start. The novel is
fast paced, not bogged down with too many details, flows easily. I received a copy in exchange for an honest
review. My recommendation is if you
enjoy a thought provoking story that is fast paced with lots of action, then
‘Deliberate Deceit’ is a must read for you.
I give the book five stars and look forward to more from Mitchell
Stevens.
