The blog is dedicated to Mum who wrote four books and more than fifty stories and other Authors. Mum passed away at 93 without seeking publication. Her books and stories range from Murder/mystery, Suspense and Romance. Her first book was published March 2008 called "Ladies of Class" a Detective, Murder Mystery story. Enjoy fellow readers!
As captain of this canalboat trip, I have to say my crew, all younger than myself, did an excellent job of winding, opening and closing of the lock gates. All I had to do was to steer and try to stop hitting the gates, walls and other boats. (Thank The Lord for reverse gear on the propeller.) Although the rain, wet clothes and shoes was a minor inconvenience, we all had a fun time.
